Let’s face
it, it’s no fun getting dumped or cheated on.
We’ve all been there and it stinks.
If you’re like me, you turn to the comfort of junk food and the ear of
some good friends. Debra Rogers’ new
book titled, He Did You A Favor, is a
fun twist on the typical “self-help” book.
She mixes humor with advice on how to not only get over the breakup, but
to move forward from it.
In the book,
Debra shares her story of being a new mom, going through post-partum depression
and being told that her husband no longer wanted to be with her. She recalls how she handled it, what got her
through it and how she was able to become friendly with her ex for their
daughter’s sake.
Although I’m
not going through a break-up at the moment, I found this book to be
entertaining and the advice to be sound advice.
It’s the perfect book for any woman going through a break-up. It will give you suggestions on how to get
through this difficult time, while also making you chuckle with the author’s
witty humor. Hopefully I’ll never have
to seek advice about a break-up again, but if I do I’m pulling this book off of
my bookshelf!
