Event
planner Samantha Hunter is prepared for a few challenges when escorting a group
of good ole boy beer distributors to Paris, the city of haute cuisine and fine
wines. However, she doesn’t foresee being passed up for a promotion because she
is too professional and doesn’t knock back beers with her clients. Her focus
soon switches from landing the well-deserved promotion to finding her
free-spirited sister, who lives in Paris and has disappeared, leaving behind
family secrets to be uncovered. A sexy puppeteer helps Samantha search for
clues to her sister’s whereabouts and teaches her to embrace her inner child.
And a funeral-crashing psychic demonstrates the importance of living life to
the fullest. It takes Samantha’s life spiraling out of control for her to
finally get a life.

Eliza’s
first attempt at creative writing was in fourth grade. She and her friends were
huge Charlie's Angels fans and she would sit in her bedroom at night writing
scripts for them to act out at recess the following day. She was Kelly Garrett.
The journey from fourth grade script writer to published author wasn't an easy
one, but it was always an adventure and the final destination was well worth
it.
When she’s
not traveling for her job as an event planner, or tracing her ancestry roots
through Ireland, she’s at home in Wisconsin working on her next novel, bouncing
ideas off her husband Mark, and her cats Quigley and Frankie.
I would love to start my life over again someplace. And, that place would be Hawaii. This sounds like a great book that I would love to read.
ReplyDeleteI’m retired and living in southwest Florida and I love it! I grew up in Virginia and, as a child, I heard there was a place that didn’t have winter which I HATED. I vowed to live there one day and here I am. If I could start over somewhere, I would have lived my entire life in Florida!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great read! mellyjoey at aol dot com
ReplyDeleteIf I could start over somewhere, I would have spent a few years in london england

Thank you so much for spotlighting my book today at Book Mama! And thanks for stopping by everyone and sharing your thoughts. If I could start over somewhere it would be Ireland. France would be a close second though. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure! If I could start over somewhere it would have to be a place that is warm and sunny most of the year. Living in Upstate New York for the past 34 yrs, and dealing with our winters, has made me want to move to a more tropical climate!
DeleteSounds like a really fun read. I just downloaded it on my Kindle.

My pleasure! Thank you for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI'd go to some happy place :)
ReplyDeleteCancun...
ReplyDeleteI would go to a cabin in the mountains.
ReplyDeleteHard to say where I would want to start over. I've always been interested in the coast in England, Wales and Scotland. It would be cool to stay in Cornwall for a few month. But closer to home, maybe somewhere on the coast of Oregon.

I would definitely go to London! I love it there!
ReplyDeleteSince I've never traveled, I encourage my kids to do it.
ReplyDeleteI would start all over again in one of the western states, Montana, Wyoming or possible an eastern state, Maine. Thanks for the question and giveaway. I've never been one to travel and I would love to change that about myself too.
ReplyDeleteI would move to Florida to be near my sis who lives there.
ReplyDeleteMight as well dream - St. Thomas or Aruba.
ReplyDeleteHawaii. Definitely, without a doubt.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I don't know if I'd want to start over somewhere else. I kind of like where I am, but, given the right circumstances, I'd like to start over in Southern California :-). Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteIreland to find creatures of fairy tales
ReplyDeleteFrance!!!
ReplyDeleteI would move to Northern Michigan-there are wonderful towns all along Lake Michigan - beautiful year round
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind a do-over in my current life, but with more $!
ReplyDeleteHMM... I would go to Hawaii!
ReplyDeleteI'd go to Paris or London.
ReplyDeleteSuzy
I would choose Italy, Ireland and England. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd go somewhere and live on a beach. The book sounds great. Thanks for having the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteManhattan.
ReplyDeleteEvery day we get a new chance to kiss our old life goodbye and start new (and this is coming from someone very young!). I recently swapped Manhattan for Los Angeles (on a whim) and then back East. I've also traded living in one place for hopping all over... for the past four years. But if I had to go somewhere permanently in favor of a brand new life... hmm.. maybe Miami, or Paris, or Austin. yes, Austin, Texas! That sounds right :) This is a fun giveaway, thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I want to say goodbye to my old life and begin anew. Not everything about my life has been roses, and there's certainly been some rough times, but overall, I'd have to say it's been a good one. We've gotten to live in Europe (US Air Force) and in three states in the US, so my home is where I hang my hat.
ReplyDeleteHubby will be retiring (from 2nd career) in a few years, so guess that will be 'starting over/new'. Not sure yet just where we'll live - probably near Oklahoma City as our children are in that area. Now if it wasn't for the children, I might be tempted to start life over in New Mexico - Albuquerque, or maybe Santa Fe.
