Welcome To My New Blog

Welcome to my new blog ... Book Mama.  I created this blog to be a fun place to chat about books, family and anything else that may be on my mind or yours!  I'm constantly seeing free e books online and will share them with everyone here.  Just a tip, if you see an ebook that you like, download it right away.  They don't tend to stay free for long!  So take advantage of them right away!

Here's a little bit about me and I'd love to hear more about you.  I'm a mom to five children.  They range from 3-21.  Yes, you read that right!  My kids are my life.  Being a mother is my biggest accomplishment and something I'm the most proud of.  I'm a huge reader.  It has to be a print book though.  I don't like ebooks and dread the day that print books become a thing of the past and ebooks are all that are sold.  My favorite genre is chick lit/women's fiction.  I love a fun book that I can get caught up in.  Currently I'm reading In Need of Therapy by Tracie Banister.  It's her second published novel and a fun read.  I'll write more about it after I finish it, but am thoroughly enjoying it.  It's a fun read and based out of Miami.  What's not to like?

      Thank you, Tracie! Not only were you my first commenter, you were the first person to join the site! Woohoo!!! My pleasure for the shout out. I'm almost done with the book and can't wait to give my thoughts on it. The actual book review will go up on Chick Lit Central's blog. All my book reviews will go up there, but my personal thoughts on each book will more than likely be shared on here :)

    I have been trying to get a copy of In Need of Therapy for a while now! I'm hoping to find it for free at some point as I have a rule that I cannot spend $ on books or I will go broke! Can't wait to read your reviews.

    I have to tell you that it is a fabulous book. I just loved it! Do you have an ereader or ipad? If so, you can download the book for only $1.99!!! That's a steal and it's TOTALLY worth it :)
